Role & responsibilities

- Manage and monitor daily dispatch operations during the assigned shift.

- Ensure all customer orders are dispatched within the defined SLA and delivery timelines.

- Monitor order picking, sorting, staging, and loading activities to ensure dispatch accuracy.

- Allocate manpower to different dispatch activities based on workload and operational requirements.

- Ensure proper vehicle planning, loading sequence, and vehicle utilization.

- Verify order quantities, invoices, delivery challans, and other dispatch-related documents.

- Ensure proper loading practices to prevent product damage, shortage, and loss during transportation.

- Monitor pending orders, delayed dispatches, and ensure timely closure of all dispatch activities.

- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Transport, and Customer Service teams to resolve operational issues.

- Ensure all dispatch-related system transactions are completed accurately and on time.

- Monitor and control dispatch errors, damages, shortages, and customer complaints.





- Conduct shift handovers and communicate pending activities, operational issues, and performance updates to the next shift.

- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, operational SOPs, and company policies.

- Maintain discipline, productivity, and performance of dispatch team members.

- Prepare daily shift reports and provide operational updates to the reporting manager.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in FMCG or B2B distribution operations preferred.

- Knowledge of dispatch planning, order fulfillment, and transportation coordination.

- Basic knowledge of WMS systems and MS Excel.

- Solid team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage shift operations in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends, as per business requirements.
