Job Title: Sewing Trainee

Department: Production

Reports To: Sewing Supervisor / Line In-charge

Job Purpose

To learn and perform basic sewing operations under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors while maintaining quality and production standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Learn basic sewing machine operations.

2. Assist sewing operators in daily production activities.

3. Follow instructions given by the supervisor and line in-charge.

4. Maintain proper stitching quality and accuracy.

5. Handle fabrics and garment components carefully.

6. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the sewing area.

7. Follow safety procedures and company rules.

8. Achieve daily production targets as per instructions.

9. Identify and report stitching defects to the supervisor.

10. Maintain discipline,



punctuality, and teamwork.

Educational Qualification

- Minimum 8th / 10th / 12th standard.

- Freshers are welcome.

- Basic sewing knowledge is an added advantage.

Skills Required

- Willingness to learn sewing operations.

- Good hand-eye coordination.

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a team.

- Valuable discipline and time management.
