Job Title: Service Engineer (MRI & CT Scan)

Experience: 5+ years in MRI and CT Scan service

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of MRI and CT Scan systems at customer sites, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission MRI and CT Scan systems, including site preparation support.
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per the service schedule.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns on-site and remotely.
- Attend service calls promptly and keep equipment downtime to a minimum.
- Perform calibration, quality checks, and performance tests.
- Manage spare parts requirements and replacements.
- Maintain service reports, logbooks, and equipment history records.
- Handle AMC/CMC customer service commitments.
- Guide technicians and radiographers on basic operation and care of the equipment.
- Follow safety standards, including radiation safety (AERB)



and magnet safety.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of MRI and CT systems and subsystems (magnet, gradient, RF, cooling system, X-ray tube, detector, gantry, high-voltage generator, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to read service manuals, circuit diagrams, and use service software.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on call when required.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Biomedical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Mandatory

- Experience with Siemens, GE, Philips, or Canon systems.
- Experience in both MRI and CT service.

Salary: As per industry standards Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
