SENIOR TRAVEL SALES TEAM LEADER

We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Sales Team Leader with 6+ years of experience in international travel sales and ticketing to lead our team of travel consultants, drive revenue growth and consistently achieve business targets.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in international flight ticketing, advanced knowledge of GDS and travel booking software, and in-depth understanding of the US and Canadian travel markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, manage and motivate a team of international travel sales agents.
- Drive team sales targets, revenue, conversions and individual productivity.
- Manage international flight reservations, ticketing and complex itineraries.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of GDS platforms and travel booking software.
- Have excellent knowledge of US–India and Canada–India routes, airlines and international fares.
- Handle fare construction, reissues, refunds, cancellations and complex ticketing queries.
- Monitor live chat volume, AHT, SLA and overall team performance.
- Drive upselling, cross-selling and effective implementation of sales strategies.
- Provide real-time floor support, agent coaching and performance management.
- Handle customer escalations, flight disruptions and operational challenges.




- Ensure consistent achievement of team sales targets and operational KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in international travel sales and ticketing.
- Previous experience leading and managing a team of travel sales agents.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo or other GDS platforms.
- Strong understanding of US and Canadian travel markets, airlines and international routes.
- Excellent knowledge of fare rules, fare construction, ticketing, reissues and refunds.
- Proven track record of achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
