About Kefilo Kefilo is a NutritionTech and personalised wellness transformation company focused on functional nutrition, preventive wellness, gut health, and lifestyle transformation.

We are building a technology-enabled wellness ecosystem that combines personalised nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, intelligent food solutions, and data-driven transformation programs. Our objective is to create intuitive digital experiences that make personalised wellness accessible, engaging, and measurable.

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer who can take ownership of the design experience across Kefilo's digital products, translating complex wellness workflows into simple, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Product Design & User Experience

- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for Kefilo's mobile application, website, dashboards, and digital platforms.
- Translate product requirements and business objectives into user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design intuitive experiences for customer onboarding, wellness assessments, personalised programs, nutrition plans, and progress tracking.
- Simplify complex nutrition and wellness information into accessible, actionable, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Design System & Visual Identity
- Develop and maintain a consistent design system, including typography, colour palettes, components, layouts, and interaction patterns.
- Establish visual consistency across the mobile app, website, dashboards, marketing interfaces, and other digital touchpoints.
- Create reusable UI components and design guidelines to support faster and more consistent product development.
- Ensure that Kefilo's digital identity reflects a premium, credible, contemporary, and science-led NutritionTech brand.
- Wellness Product & Dashboard Design
- Design user interfaces for personalised nutrition, fitness, mental wellness, lifestyle tracking, and 90-day transformation programs.
- Develop intuitive dashboards to communicate user progress, milestones, habits,



insights, and program performance.
- Design experiences for consultant interactions, weekly follow-ups, reminders, rituals, and customer engagement.
- Work on interfaces that connect nutrition intelligence, user data, recommendations, and personalised wellness journeys.
- User Research & Usability Testing
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability studies to understand customer behaviour and expectations.
- Gather feedback from customers, nutritionists, fitness experts, and internal teams.
- Identify usability issues and improve navigation, accessibility, engagement, and conversion.
- Validate designs through prototypes, user testing, and continuous product iterations.
- Product & Development Collaboration
- Work closely with product owners, developers, nutritionists, and business teams to translate requirements into practical design solutions.
- Prepare design specifications, interactive prototypes, component libraries, and developer handoff documentation.
- Coordinate with developers throughout implementation to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Contribute to product strategy by identifying opportunities to improve the overall user experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Delivery of complete UI/UX designs for planned product features and releases.
- Development and maintenance of a scalable design system and reusable component library.
- Improvement in onboarding completion, feature adoption, and user engagement.
- Reduction in usability issues through research, testing, and design iterations.
- Consistency and quality across mobile, web, and dashboard experiences.
- Timely delivery of prototypes, design specifications, and developer handoffs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication,



Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Strong experience in UI/UX and digital product design, preferably for mobile applications and web platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and familiarity with prototyping, wireframing, and design collaboration tools.
- Understanding of user research, information architecture, design systems, responsive design, and usability principles.
- Ability to design data-heavy dashboards and complex user journeys without compromising simplicity.
- Strong visual design, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in HealthTech, NutritionTech, wellness, fitness, foodtech, or consumer technology products will be an advantage.

Equity-Based Engagement Terms
- This is an equity-based founding team opportunity, not a salaried position at the current stage.
- The selected candidate will work closely with the founder and product development team, taking ownership of UI/UX design across Kefilo's digital ecosystem.
- Expected commitment: 20–25 hours per week.
- Equity participation will be discussed based on experience, contribution, responsibilities, and long-term commitment.
- A proposed five-year vesting structure will apply, subject to the final founding team agreement.
- Fixed compensation may be considered after funding and revenue stabilisation. This could take 6–8 months or potentially a year; there is no guaranteed timeline.

What We Expect We are looking for a product-minded designer who can go beyond creating attractive screens. The ideal candidate should understand user behaviour, simplify complex workflows, build scalable design systems, and create digital experiences that encourage users to stay engaged with their wellness journey.

The candidate should be comfortable working in an early-stage startup, taking independent design ownership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating product vision into high-quality digital experiences.
