Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager with 15+ years of overall experience and robust expertise in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences domain. The candidate will be responsible for driving complex technology and digital initiatives, working closely with business, technology, vendor, and cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong end-to-end project/program management experience within pharma, with exposure to clinical research or clinical development technology being highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and programs within the pharmaceutical domain.

Own project planning, execution, governance, delivery tracking, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.

Partner with business and technology teams to translate business requirements into clear project plans and delivery outcomes.

Manage multiple workstreams involving internal teams, technology partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Drive project governance including status reporting,



RAID management, milestone tracking, budget/resource coordination, and executive updates.

Identify project risks and dependencies proactively and drive mitigation and resolution.

Coordinate across technical teams covering application development, integrations, data, platforms, infrastructure, or digital solutions, depending on the program.

Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with organizational quality, security, compliance, and governance requirements.

Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for project delivery.

Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and governance practices.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in technical project/program management.

Strong experience working within the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry.

Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.

Strong understanding of the technology project lifecycle, including requirements, solution delivery, testing, deployment, and transition.

Strong project governance and delivery management capabilities, including RAID management, planning, dependency management, budgeting, resource management, and reporting.





Experience working with global and distributed teams.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business leadership.

Experience managing third-party vendors and technology partners.

Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting clinical research, clinical development, or R&D; technology programs within a pharmaceutical organization.

Familiarity with clinical technology ecosystems such as CTMS, EDC, eTMF, clinical data platforms, or related clinical systems.

Exposure to regulated technology environments and concepts such as GxP, CSV/Computer Software Assurance (CSA), data integrity, and validation.

Experience delivering digital transformation, cloud, data, application modernization, integration, or platform implementation programs within pharma.

PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum, or similar project/program management certification would be advantageous.

Ideal Candidate Profile A senior technology project leader with strong pharmaceutical industry experience who can independently manage large-scale initiatives, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and drive delivery from initiation through implementation. Candidates with direct exposure to clinical research or clinical development technology will be preferred.
