Designation : Team Lead - Tax

Responsibilities :

- Ensure compliance of R&D; tax credit and file R&D; taxes for clients.
- Review Federal and Multi-State Corporate tax returns including foreign reporting 5471/5472/8858/FBARs, and R&D; Tax credit reporting.
- Ability to solve IRS and State Tax notice requests and handle clients tax requests.
- Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns.
- Rigorously follow tax timelines to ensure timely filing and avoid penalties.
- Must be able to advise clients on tax requirements and need to timely file taxes.
- Filling corporation and partnership tax returns - Federal, State and City taxes.
- File Delaware franchise tax return & Form 3921
- Manage the workflow and interaction with various teams to ensure the timely filing of tax returns and other deliverables.
- Analyze transactions and prepare reports.
- Delight customers with expert guidance and support.
- Work with engineering to define and evolve our bookkeeping processes.
- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in tax regulations.



Responsible for managing team members.
- Responsible for development and performance management of the team.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in US tax domain.
- Master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.
- Skilled qualification such as a CA/CPA
- Excellent knowledge of US Taxes.
- Experience working with US clients/ Start-ups is MUST.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
- Experience and comfort with phone support a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-context startup environment• Strong communication skills (oral and written) are a must
- Strong time and priority management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) required
