Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead and contribute to platform modernization initiatives at GCC India. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions to transform our existing systems and infrastructure into modern, scalable, and efficient platforms.

Job Responsibilities

- Design and implement shared Kafka platform capabilities on Confluent Cloudstandards, schemas, client patterns, and setting configuration.

- Build and maintain Terraform for Confluent and AWS (EKS, Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, networking, secrets) and automated provisioning across environments.

- Develop and maintain production .NET Kafka producers and consumers, shared libraries, and schema/contract changes aligned to platform standards.

- Configure and validate Confluent capabilities (topics, ACLs, Schema Registry, monitoring integrations) through testing before production promotion.

- Partner with platform, security, and application teams on event onboarding, legacy messaging migration, and AWS hosting patterns for .NET services connected to Confluent Cloud.

- Implement OAuth 2.0 patterns for .NET and platform services per security standards (token usage, validation, integration with enterprise identity).

- Deliver CI/CD and reusable templates for platform and client rollout with auditable, repeatable deployments.

- Conduct code and design reviews; mentor junior engineers on .NET messaging, Confluent, and Terraform.

- Deliver secure, stable, maintainable code and IaC through strong engineering practices, testing, and review before production.

- Use Gen AI and AI-assisted development to accelerate .NET, Terraform, documentation, and test work, with human review and team security standards.

- Troubleshoot pre-production and production Kafka and .NET integration issues; support availability, capacity, and performance.





- Document architectures, Terraform modules, .NET client standards, and runbooks.

- Stay current on Confluent Cloud, .NET, Terraform, and AWS patterns relevant to event platform engineering.

Job Qualifications**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial work in integration, messaging, or platform engineering.

- Strong .NET skills: design and development of production Kafka producers and consumers, error handling, idempotency, and schema/contract evolution.

- Solid hands-on experience with Confluent Cloud and Apache Kafka in production (topics, consumer groups, offsets, Schema Registry, operational troubleshooting).

- Strong Terraform experience: reusable modules and environment templates for platform and AWS infrastructure.

- Solid AWS experience supporting event platforms and .NET workloads: EKS, Lambda, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, VPC/connectivity to Confluent Cloud, IAM, secrets management, and observability integration.

- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices for platform or integration teams.

- Working knowledge of event-driven architecture and message security (TLS/SASL, ACLs, least-privilege access).

- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 for securing .NET services and platform components that interact with the event platform and enterprise identity.

- Demonstrated use of Gen AI / AI-assisted tools to accelerate software development (code, refactors, tests, documentation), with reviewed, production-quality outcomes.

- Track record of secure, stable, production-grade delivery with testing, peer review, and documentation.

Preferences

- Experience working with Kong API platform

- Experience migrating production workloads from TIBCO EMS or comparable enterprise messaging to Kafka on Confluent Cloud.

- Recognized AI certification.
