Job Summary The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships and achieving assigned sales targets. The ideal candidate should have good communication and negotiation skills, a proactive approach to sales, and the ability to convert business opportunities into successful orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and approach potential customers, dealers, distributors, contractors and business clients.
- Generate new sales leads through field visits, references, networking and market research.
- Promote and sell the company's steel and metal products to prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Conduct regular field visits to understand customer requirements and identify business opportunities.
- Prepare and share quotations, negotiate pricing and follow up on sales enquiries.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed orders and ensure timely coordination with the internal team.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer demands.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute towards overall business growth.
- Maintain daily activity reports, customer databases and sales pipeline updates.
- Follow up on pending orders,



customer payments and outstanding receivables in coordination with the concerned departments.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Target-oriented with a strong passion for sales.
- Good market knowledge and networking abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and field sales activities.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Candidates with a background in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields will be preferred.

Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales or business development preferred.
- Experience in steel, metal, construction materials, hardware or industrial products will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication and sales aptitude may also apply.
