About the Opportunity

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a technology-driven logistics and cross-border e-commerce shipping company (client name confidential at this stage), for a Senior Manager - Business Finance based in Delhi NCR.

The role reports directly to the Head of Finance and sits close to the business - partnering with operations and commercial leaders as the company scales internationally. This is a seat for someone who wants to influence decisions, not only report on them.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager - Finance specialising in Business Finance, with the ability to partner with business teams, analyse operational performance, and provide financial insights that support business decisions.

The role focuses on business performance analysis, financial planning, profitability, cost management, and decision support. Candidates with experience in supply chain, logistics, or other operationally intensive businesses would be particularly relevant.

Key Responsibilities

Business Finance & Partnering

- Partner with business and operational leaders to understand performance,



business drivers, and financial priorities.
- Provide financial insights to support business planning, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.
- Translate operational data into actionable financial recommendations.
- Work with stakeholders to improve financial discipline and business performance.

Financial Planning & Performance Analysis

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with business teams.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Track key financial and operational metrics to support management decision-making.

P&L; and Profitability Management

- Analyse P&L; performance across business units, service lines, customer segments, and operational units.
- Monitor revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and margin improvement.
- Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, pricing decisions, and operational changes.

Commercial & Operational Finance

- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to understand cost drivers and operational efficiency.
- Analyse unit economics, cost structures, and profitability across relevant business segments.




- Support commercial decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve resource utilisation and financial performance.

Management Reporting & Decision Support

- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial performance presentations.
- Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develop analytical frameworks to improve visibility into business performance.
- Support business reviews and strategic planning discussions.

What We Are Looking For

- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or an equivalent relevant finance qualification.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A;, or financial business partnering.
- Strong understanding of P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience partnering with business or operational teams to drive financial performance.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate actionable insights.
- Experience in profitability analysis, cost management, and financial modelling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Robust commercial acumen and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, or other operationally intensive businesses.
