About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer with robust technical design capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a client-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling the complete project journey, from initial client interaction and design conceptualization to presentations, documentation, project coordination, and successful deal closure.

This role combines creative design responsibilities with client management and business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle incoming leads, conduct initial client calls, understand project requirements, and schedule client meetings and site visits.
- Develop creative interior design concepts, space plans, 2D layouts, detailed working drawings, and 3D visualizations.
- Prepare realistic renders, mood boards, material boards, design presentations, BOQs, quotations, and project documentation.
- Present design concepts and proposals professionally, coordinate with clients, incorporate feedback, and manage design approvals.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors,



and site teams to ensure smooth project execution as per approved designs.
- Conduct site visits, monitor execution progress, and resolve design-related challenges.
- Follow up with prospective clients, negotiate proposals, handle client queries, and convert leads into confirmed projects.
- Manage multiple projects and client interactions while ensuring timely deliverables and client satisfaction.

Required Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD: 2D drafting, layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- SketchUp: 3D modelling and space visualization.
- 3ds Max: Advanced 3D modelling (preferred).
- V-Ray / Lumion / Enscape: Realistic rendering and visualization.
- Adobe Photoshop: Image editing, post-production, and presentation.
- Adobe Illustrator / InDesign: Additional advantage.

Technical & Design Skills
- Strong understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, and interior design principles.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, textures, colour schemes, lighting, and furniture design.
- Understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, and custom furniture detailing.
- Ability to prepare technical drawings, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.
- Knowledge of material specifications, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and quotation development.
- Understanding of interior site execution, construction processes, and material applications.




- Ability to translate design concepts into practical and executable solutions.

Communication & Professional Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client-handling, presentation, negotiation, and convincing abilities.
- Confident in conducting client meetings and explaining design concepts.
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional approach.
- Strong problem-solving ability, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines independently.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and responsible towards assigned work.

Eligibility Criteria
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in Interior Design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial interior projects.
- Practical experience in design development, 3D visualization, and technical drawings.
- Experience in client handling, project coordination, and site execution.
- Candidates with prior sales, business development, and project closure experience will be preferred.
