Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), group financial reporting, consolidation and management reporting activities.
The role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial performance analysis, group consolidation, financial governance and business partnering with regional and global stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, financial modelling expertise and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range financial planning.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning cycles.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts and key financial metrics.
- Provide insights on revenue, margins, profitability and cash flow.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver management reporting, financial analysis and variance analysis.
- Lead month-end financial performance reviews.
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations and management reports.
- Analyse financial results and identify risks and business opportunities.
- Review financial transactions, controls and balance sheet integrity.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.
3. Group Reporting & Consolidation
- Manage the group financial consolidation process.
- Prepare and oversee HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) reporting.
- Coordinate consolidation and statutory reporting requirements.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of group financial reporting.
- Coordinate reporting activities with regional finance teams and stakeholders.
4. Financial Control, Governance & Compliance
- Drive financial controllership, governance and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies.
- Maintain the integrity of financial reporting and balance sheet management.
- Support statutory reporting, audit and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage consolidated weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate cash flow reporting with subsidiaries and regional finance teams.
- Support liquidity planning and treasury management activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve working capital management.
6. Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to improve profitability and cost management.
- Collaborate with global business leaders on strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Support profitability and optimisation analysis.
- Translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
7. Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead, coach and develop finance professionals.
- Mentor team members and support capability development.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Promote accountability, financial discipline and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant finance experience.
- CA / CPA qualification required.
- Strong experience in FP&A;, financial planning and analysis.
- Experience in group reporting and financial consolidation.
- Hands-on experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) is preferred.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
- Experience in statutory reporting and financial governance.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Experience managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems such as HFM, Oracle or similar platforms.
- Anaplan experience is preferred.
