Role Description The Senior Engineer role at HURL is a full-time, on-site position based in Kakori.

The Senior

Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role includes planning and supervising maintenance activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams for process improvements, and troubleshooting technical issues to maintain operational reliability.

documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while mentoring junior team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Solid technical expertise in engineering disciplines relevant to fertilizer, chemical, or process industries, with experience in plant operations or project execution.
- Proficiency in equipment monitoring, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality management practices applicable to large industrial plants.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare technical reports, and use engineering tools or software to support decision-making.
- Effective communication, team collaboration, and mentoring skills to work with cross-functional teams and guide junior staff.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in fertilizer, petrochemical, power, or heavy process industries is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kakori and adapt to rotating shifts or extended hours as required by plant operations.
