KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform mechanical design and detailed engineering of pump components and assemblies, developing manufacturing-ready designs and engineering documentation using Siemens NX

- Manage engineering data, revisions, and workflows in Teamcenter (TC)
- Perform basic engineering calculations related to pumping systems, pump components, fits, tolerances, materials, and structural integrity.
- Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs.
- Coordinate with production, quality, SCM, and testing teams during design and project execution.
- Support design improvements, value engineering initiatives.

Technical

1. Knowledge of pumps, hydro turbines, rotating equipment, castings, machined components, and assembly design.
2. Experience in 3D CAD modelling, detailed engineering, and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
3. Exposure to Siemens NX and Teamcenter (TC) will be an added advantage.
4. Robust fundamentals in: Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Drawing
