Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Professional to take ownership of accounts receivable operations, oversee collections, drive process efficiencies, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, and financial reconciliations, preferably in a global or SaaS-based organization.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to independently manage complex AR activities while ensuring timely collections and maintaining healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment processing, collections, reconciliations, and account maintenance.
- Collections & Follow-ups: Drive collection strategies and proactively follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue receivables.
- Customer Account Management: Manage customer queries, resolve billing disputes, and address payment discrepancies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform regular account reconciliations, investigate irregularities, and ensure the accuracy of AR ledgers and financial records.
- Aging Analysis: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identify high-risk and overdue accounts, and take appropriate actions to improve collections.




- Cash Flow Management: Support cash flow forecasting by providing accurate collection projections and regular updates on outstanding receivables.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to resolve outstanding payment issues.
- Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present periodic AR reports, collection dashboards, outstanding balances, and key performance metrics to management.
- Team Guidance: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, review operational activities, and ensure adherence to established processes.

Requirements & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, and Financial Operations.
- Strong experience in managing end-to-end AR operations, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations.
- Proven experience handling large customer portfolios, overdue accounts, and complex collection scenarios.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and AR processes.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing AR aging reports, collection forecasts, and financial dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage priorities, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements.
- Experience working with global customers or in a SaaS/product-based organization will be an added advantage.
