Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in Tally and Busy accounting software, along with direct, end-to-end exposure to handling Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, balance sheet finalization, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounting & Day-to-Day Operations:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations in Tally and Busy software.
- Oversee accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), ensuring timely payments, invoicing, and collections.
- Maintain precise records of daily cash flow, bank transactions, and ledger entries.
- Financial Reporting & P&L; Management:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements and balance sheets.
- Analyze financial statements, identify variance trends, and present cost-control or profitability insights to management.
- Assist in audit preparations (Internal & External) and ensure audit-ready ledger documentation.




- Taxation & Compliance:
- Handle GST returns filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation with GSTR-2B) and TDS computation, deduction, and deposit.
- Prepare data for monthly/quarterly statutory returns and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Reconciliation & Vendor Management:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations (BRS) and vendor/client ledger reconciliations.
- Resolve discrepancies in invoices, bills, and payment settlements.

Key Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Master’s degree (M.Com) / MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 5 to 6 years of core accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Software Proficiency:
- Advanced working knowledge of Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and Busy Accounting Software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial formulas).
- Core Competencies:
- Robust hands-on exposure to P&L; statements, balance sheets, and financial analysis.
- Deep understanding of statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Provident Fund, ESI).
- Excellent numerical ability, high accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
