Senior Accountant – Banking & Finance (LC Payments)

- Manage and oversee Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, including opening, amendment, negotiation, and closure.
- Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal teams for timely processing of LC payments.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, UCP 600, and company policies related to trade finance.
- Prepare and verify LC documentation, invoices, shipping documents, and bank charges.
- Monitor LC limits, maturity dates, and payment schedules to avoid delays or penalties.
- Reconcile bank statements, LC accounts, and trade finance entries in books of accounts.
- Handle import/export finance accounting, including usance and sight LCs.
- Support monthly, quarterly,



and annual financial closing related to banking and LC transactions.
- Liaise with auditors and banks for LC confirmations and financial audits.
- Maintain accurate records and MIS reports for LC exposure, utilization, and outstanding payments.
