Position: Security Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Security Officer to oversee the security operations of the university campus. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining discipline, ensuring the safety of students, employees, visitors, and university property, and supervising security personnel.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily security operations across the university campus.
- Monitor the deployment and performance of security guards.
- Ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and access control.
- Maintain visitor entry records and vehicle movement registers.
- Conduct regular security inspections and patrols.
- Handle emergency situations, incidents, and security-related complaints.
- Coordinate with local police and emergency services whenever required.
- Ensure proper implementation of security policies and SOPs.
- Prepare daily security reports and maintain incident records.




- Manage security arrangements during university events and functions.
- Ensure discipline and proper functioning of all security checkpoints.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Relevant security or administration certifications will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in security management or supervisory roles.
- Candidates with defence, police, paramilitary, or institutional security backgrounds will be preferred.

Required Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in security operations.
- Experience managing security guards and large premises will be preferred.
