SAP SSAM / MDK Technical Developer

Location: Bangalore

Experience : 5+ years

We are looking for an experienced SAP SSAM / MDK Technical Developer to design, develop, customize, and support mobile applications for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) and SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) applications.
- Create and maintain MDK pages, actions, business rules, JavaScript logic, and workflows.
- Configure and support SAP BTP Mobile Services and Mobile Asset Integration Framework (MAIF).
- Integrate mobile applications with SAP backend systems using OData services.
- Troubleshoot data synchronization, offline functionality, and mobile application performance issues.
- Enhance standard SSAM functionality while ensuring upgrade compatibility.
- Build, package, test, and deploy mobile applications across QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.




- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in SAP mobility development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDK, SAP SSAM, or SAP Asset Manager.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, MDK metadata configuration, and mobile application customization.
- Experience with SAP BTP Mobile Services and MAIF.
- Robust knowledge of OData services, SAP Gateway, and backend integrations.
- Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Understanding of Work Orders, Notifications, Equipment, and Functional Locations.
- Experience with offline capabilities, data synchronization, and mobile troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Postman, testing, version control, deployment, and release management.
- Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal (EP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
