SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Senior Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Senior Manager to lead complex SuccessFactors Compensation implementations, transformations, and support engagements. The role requires robust functional expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, stakeholder management, solution design, and leadership of implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementations, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Design compensation processes covering merit increases, promotions, lump-sum awards, bonuses, salary adjustments, and compensation planning.
- Configure and oversee Compensation templates, worksheets, eligibility rules, guidelines, budgets, route maps, approval workflows, statements, and executive review.
- Facilitate workshops with HR, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, IT, payroll, and business stakeholders.
- Translate complex compensation policies and business requirements into scalable SuccessFactors solutions.
- Provide architectural and functional guidance for integrations between Compensation and relevant SuccessFactors Employee Central, Variable Pay, Performance & Goals, and downstream HR/payroll systems.
- Lead compensation-cycle activities, including planning, configuration validation, testing, launch readiness, monitoring, and production support.
- Own functional design documentation, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, deployment plans, and operational documentation.
- Manage SIT/UAT activities, defect resolution, cutover, and go-live readiness.
- Diagnose complex configuration and integration issues and drive resolution with functional and technical teams.
- Manage multiple workstreams, project risks, dependencies,



milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
- Lead and mentor consultants and functional team members, providing design reviews and quality assurance.
- Support proposals, solution demonstrations, effort estimation, project planning, and client presentations.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR and compensation processes through standardization, automation, and effective use of SuccessFactors capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation.
- Experience delivering multiple end-to-end SuccessFactors Compensation implementations.
- Strong understanding of compensation concepts such as salary structures, merit planning, budgets, guidelines, eligibility, promotions, and reward cycles.
- Experience with Employee Central integration and SuccessFactors data models.
- Strong knowledge of implementation methodologies covering requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ability to lead client workshops and communicate solution decisions to senior HR and technology stakeholders.
- Experience leading functional teams and coordinating with integration, data, testing, and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant SAP SuccessFactors certification, particularly Compensation.
- Experience with Employee Central, Variable Pay, Performance & Goals, or People Analytics.
- Experience delivering large-scale/global SuccessFactors transformations.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and complex stakeholder environments.

Senior Manager Expectations At Senior Manager level, the role should go beyond configuration. The candidate should be capable of owning the overall Compensation solution, challenging requirements where appropriate, making design decisions, managing senior stakeholders, leading delivery teams, controlling implementation risk, and ensuring solution quality from design through go-live.
