(JD) – SAP Integration Developer

Experience: 8+ Years

Working time: US Time (Night shift from India) Remote

Industry Preference: Pharmaceuticals or other Regulated Distribution Industries

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI) .
- Develop end-to-end interfaces between SAP and third-party applications using APIs, web services, IDocs, RFCs, OData, REST, SOAP, and EDI standards.
- Implement and manage integrations involving SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
- Build and configure API management solutions, integration flows (iFlows), and event-driven integrations.
- Support B2B/EDI integrations with distributors, logistics partners, and external vendors.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and interface failures.
- Develop monitoring and support strategies for production integrations.
- Ensure solutions comply with industry regulations, security standards, and data governance requirements.
- Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in system upgrades, migration projects, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

SAP Integration Expertise

- 6+ years of experience in SAP integration technologies.Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (BTP-IS/CPI) .




- Strong experience in:
- SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
- API Management
- Integration Advisor
- Open Connectors
- Event Mesh (preferred)
- Expertise in integration patterns, message mappings, routing, exception handling, and transformation techniques.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- OData Services
- IDocs
- RFC/BAPI
- XML, JSON, XSLT
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration architecture.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform services.

Industry Experience

- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Wholesale Distribution, or other highly regulated industries .
- Understanding of:
- Drug distribution processes
- Supply chain and warehouse operations
- Serialization and track-and-trace concepts
- Regulatory compliance requirements (FDA, GxP, Valuable Distribution Practices)
- Quality and validation processes

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP BTP Integration Suite Certification.
- Experience with SAP Event Mesh and API-led integration architecture.
- Knowledge of SAP Master Data integration.
- Exposure to SAP ATTP, EWM, TM, IBP, or other supply chain modules.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and integration testing frameworks.

Nice-to-Have

- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- Pharmaceutical distribution, cold-chain logistics, or life sciences domain expertise.
- Experience with validation documentation and compliance-focused projects.
