Job Title- SAP Data Archiving ILM

Job Summary

We are looking for an SAP Data Archiving ILM to manage document management systems, archiving, and data lifecycle management. You will be responsible for day-to-day incident management, routine system housekeeping, handling change requests, and maintaining overall system performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

- Incident Management: Resolve Tier 2/3 incidents for SAP EDMS, SAP Archiving, and SAP ILM within defined SLAs. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.

- Monitoring Housekeeping: Perform daily system health checks, monitor background archiving jobs, transparent logs, and manage storage capacity.

- Change Requests: Gather requirements, configure, test, and deploy approved Change Requests (CRs) for archiving, ILM policies, and document management.

- System Stability Performance: Fine-tune archiving performance,



monitor ArchiveLink interfaces/content repositories, and ensure high system availability.

- Cross-Functional Support: Work with functional module teams (FI, MM, SD, HR) and Basis/Security administrators to resolve cross-system issues.

Key Requirements

- Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Archiving (SARA), SAP ILM, and SAP EDMS/Document Management.

- Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of standard SAP archiving objects and Content Repository configuration (OAC0).

- Experience with ILM retention rules, legal holds, and data destruction.

- Proficiency in standard monitoring transactions (SM37, SLG1, ST22, DB02).

- Basic understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).

- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and good team communication.
