About the Role:

Experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, implementation, customization, enhancement, and support projects.

Total Experience: 7 - 9 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs based on business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain RICEF objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
- Work extensively on ABAP programming, including Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, ALV Reports, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP Objects, Classes, Methods, Interfaces, and Exception Handling.
- Work on ABAP Dictionary objects such as Tables, Structures, Views, Data Elements, Domains, Search Helps, and Lock Objects.
- Develop and maintain Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms as per business requirements.
- Work on BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and other integration technologies for seamless communication between SAP and external systems.
- Perform enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI implementations, Enhancement Framework, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.
- Develop and maintain OData services and support SAP Gateway integration requirements.
- Work on CDS Views, AMDP, and up-to-date ABAP development techniques.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis,



and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
- Analyze existing ABAP programs and optimize performance using appropriate coding techniques.
- Work on SQL performance tuning, database optimization, and efficient data retrieval techniques.
- Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants across modules such as SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, and other business areas.
- Understand functional specifications and prepare technical specifications for development objects.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Handle production support activities, resolve technical defects, and provide timely solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Support SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and upgrade projects.
- Prepare technical documentation, development specifications, test cases, and deployment-related documents.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP development activities.
- Support transport management activities and move development objects across SAP landscapes.
- Identify opportunities for improving existing SAP applications and recommend technical enhancements.
- Ensure the quality, scalability, maintainability, and reliability of all developed SAP solutions.
