Role Description The Sales Specialist role at Axis Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in Guwahati.

The Sales

Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling Axis Bank products, including gold loans, cross sell products, and other offerings, by engaging with walk-in and referred customers. Daily activities include explaining product features, assessing customer needs, completing application processes, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, following up on leads,



achieving sales targets, and contributing to branch-level business growth.

The Sales

Specialist will collaborate with branch staff, participate in local promotional activities, and provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market trends.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse customers, understand their needs, and provide transparent, helpful information.
- Proven Sales and Sales Management capabilities to meet targets, manage pipelines, and support branch-level business growth.
- Ability to deliver Training and guidance to colleagues or partners on product features, processes, and customer handling as needed.
- Prior experience in retail banking, NBFCs, or financial services sales is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of loan products, documentation, and compliance procedures is beneficial.
- Comfort with using digital tools and applications for customer onboarding and transaction processing.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant certifications in finance or sales are a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and willingness to work in a target-driven, customer-focused environment.
