AstroguideZ is an astronomy and space science education initiative dedicated to bringing the wonders of the universe closer to students through interactive learning experiences.

We conduct educational programmes for schools, including mobile planetarium shows, solar observation, telescope-based astronomy activities, Moon festivals and educational tours to space research centres.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Marketing Executive to promote our educational programmes to schools and build strong relationships with school management.

Roles and Responsibilities1. School Marketing & Business Development

- Identify and approach CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation schools.
- Contact school principals, management, coordinators and science teachers.
- Conduct direct school visits to introduce AstroguideZ programmes.
- Explain programme benefits, pricing, packages and educational value.
- Generate new leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Develop long-term relationships with schools for recurring programmes.

1. Marketing Our Educational Programmes

The executive will be responsible for promoting the following services: A. Mobile Planetarium Shows

- Promote immersive 360° planetarium experiences to schools.
- Explain the benefits of grade-wise astronomy and space science shows.
- Arrange appointments and confirm school bookings.

B.



Solar Stargazing & Telescope Observation

- Promote daytime solar observation programmes using telescopes with certified solar filters.
- Arrange school-based solar observation events.
- Explain the educational activities and student experiences.

C. Moon Festival – A Family Event

- Approach schools to organise Moon-themed educational and family events.
- Promote lunar observation, astronomy activities and interactive experiences.
- Coordinate event bookings and promotional activities.

D. Educational Tours

- Promote educational trips to ISRO centres, space museums, science centres and other astronomy-related destinations.
- Approach schools and organise meetings to explain tour packages.
- Follow up with schools to confirm student participation and bookings.

1. Sales & Lead Management

- Make daily calls to prospective schools.
- Maintain a database of schools, contacts and decision-makers.
- Follow up with interested schools through phone calls, WhatsApp and email.
- Prepare and share quotations, brochures and programme proposals.
- Negotiate packages within approved pricing guidelines.
- Achieve monthly sales and booking targets.
- Maintain records of enquiries, follow-ups, confirmed orders and payments.

1. Event Coordination

- Coordinate with the AstroguideZ operations team after receiving bookings.




- Collect required information from schools, including dates, student strength and venue details.
- Ensure smooth communication between schools and the execution team.
- Assist with promotional activities and customer feedback collection.

Candidate Requirements
- Good communication and presentation skills in Tamil and English.
- Interest in marketing, sales and educational programmes.
- Ability to approach schools and communicate confidently with management.
- Willingness to travel for school visits.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, WhatsApp and email.
- Ability to generate leads, negotiate and close sales.
- Self-motivated, responsible and target-oriented.

Experience: 5–7 years with positive communication and sales skills can also apply. Preferred: Candidates with experience in school marketing, educational sales, field marketing, event management or business development.
