We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead the sales operations of a hardware supermarket. The ideal candidate should have strong sales management skills, business development experience and the ability to lead a team while achieving sales targets and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Manage, guide and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
- Monitor daily sales activities, revenue and overall team performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong customer relationships.
- Oversee product sales across various hardware categories, including building materials, tools, electrical, plumbing and related products.
- Ensure proper product presentation, availability and merchandising.
- Handle key customer accounts, negotiations and customer escalations.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with inventory and operations teams to ensure product availability.
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance reviews.
- Ensure excellent customer service and smooth sales operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in hardware, building materials, retail or supermarket sectors.
- Previous experience in managing and leading a sales team.
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Valuable understanding of sales operations, customer handling and revenue generation.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of hardware products and market trends will be an added advantage.
