Key Responsibilities:

- Generate sales of variety of specialty chemicals which are used in different industries.

- Submit report by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual business analysis.

- Monitor competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, recent products, delivery schedules.

- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

- Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned leading industrial customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration.

- Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.

- Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships.





- Cold calling for new business opportunities and conversion of those in firm sale.

- Develop business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

- Identify new customers, markets and opportunities for business expansion

- Daily Report of Sales activities

- Achieve set target sales for the month.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Preferred candidate profile

- A University degree any stream, a degree in science will be an added advantage.

- Minimum of 1 -3 years of experience in sales, particularly in chemical industry.

- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

- Willingness to travel and work in a team of professionals.

Ability to drive sales activity and revenues.
