Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer with experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The candidate should have good technical knowledge of engineering products, industrial equipment, and oil & gas sector requirements.

The ideal candidate should be capable of developing new business opportunities, handling existing customers, preparing technical and commercial quotations, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Generate leads and establish business relationships with EPC contractors, oil companies, refineries, and engineering companies.
- Handle existing customers and develop long-term business relationships.
- Promote and sell engineering products, industrial equipment, and manufacturing solutions.
- Understand customer technical requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tenders.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and quality departments for customer requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and payments.
- Conduct customer visits, meetings, and technical presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.




- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Maintain customer databases, sales reports, and regular follow-up records.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Valuable knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in industrial sales and business development.
- Knowledge of engineering products and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in preparing techno-commercial offers and quotations.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.

Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience dealing with the following sectors will be preferred:
- Oil & Gas Companies
- Refineries and Petrochemical Industries
- EPC Contractors
- Engineering Procurement Companies
- Industrial Manufacturing Companies
- Fabrication and Process Equipment Industries
