Roles & Responsibilities:

Laboratory Operations & Data Management

1. Accurately record experimental procedures, observations, and analytical data in electronic lab notebooks (ELN) in compliance with data integrity guidelines.
2. Maintain a high standard of safety in all laboratory operations, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
3. Operate and troubleshoot various laboratory equipment and analytical instruments relevant to organic synthesis and purification.
4. Manage and organize laboratory reagents, chemicals, and consumables effectively.
5. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to guarantee accurate results. Collaboration & Communication

6. Effectively communicate research progress, challenges, and results to senior scientists and cross- functional teams.

7. Collaborate with colleagues within R&D; and other departments to achieve project goals.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in organic synthesis, process chemistry, and API development through continuous learning and literature review.
11. Propose innovative solutions and improvements for existing synthetic processes and new product development.
12. Participate in scientific discussions and contribute to the intellectual property development of Synnat Pharma.

13. Collaborate with analytical development teams to characterize synthesized compounds and intermediates. Quality & Compliance

14. Ensure all experimental work is conducted in accordance with cGMP principles and relevant regulatory guidelines.
15. Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations summarizing experimental findings and conclusions.
16. Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance in all R&D; activities.
17. Participate in internal and external audits as required, providing necessary documentation and explanations. API Process Development & Synthesis

18. Independently plan and execute multi-step organic synthesis reactions for API and intermediate targets.
19. Design and optimize synthetic routes for target molecules using advanced literature search tools like Reaxys and SciFinder.

20. Perform meticulous reaction work-ups, extractions, and purifications using techniques such as column chromatography, crystallization, and distillation.
21. Conduct process chemistry and route scouting activities to identify efficient and scalable manufacturing processes.
22. Contribute to the development of robust and cost-effective API manufacturing processes, ensuring high yield and purity.
