Roles & Responsibilities:

Laboratory Experimentation & Synthesis

1. Execute a variety of laboratory experiments for the synthesis of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and key intermediates.
2. Conduct hands-on organic synthesis reactions, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines.
3. Perform in-process monitoring and analysis to track reaction progress and identify potential issues.
4. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

Process Development & Optimization
1. Support the optimization of chemical reactions to improve yields, purity, and overall process efficiency.
2. Contribute to the development of new synthetic routes and process improvements for API manufacturing.
3. Assist in the scale-up of laboratory processes to pilot plant or manufacturing scale, identifying and resolving challenges.
4. Analyze experimental data to identify trends, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions for process enhancement.

Documentation & Reporting
1. Maintain accurate and detailed technical records of all experiments, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks.
2.



Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing experimental findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
3. Document all process parameters, analytical data, and deviations in accordance with internal quality systems.
4. Present research findings and progress updates to the R&D; team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance
1. Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
2. Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies and procedures.
3. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities related to raw materials, intermediates, and APIs.
4. Conduct purity analysis of synthesized compounds using various analytical techniques.

Collaboration & Communication
1. Collaborate effectively with analytical development, process engineering, and manufacturing teams.
2. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to project discussions.
4. Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.

1. Stay updated with the latest advancements in organic chemistry, process development, and pharmaceutical trends.
