About Us: Serigen is an innovation-driven tissue generation products company founded with the vision to become a global leader in biomedical devices. We are seeking a proactive and Research Associate to support senior team members in new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Serigen is looking for a skilled to plan and implement all R&D; activities for its various product lines.

1. Design, Plan and execute experiments, including testing and data analysis, for both existing and new product development.
2. Data generation, analysis for new patent filing and assist in drafting patent applications.
3. Writing proposals for grant acquisition or funding acquisition, ensure completion of projects in stipulated time, report preparation and submission
4. Manuscript writing and publications
5. Support procurement of materials
6. Contribute to the development and production of high-quality medical devices for clinical investigations.
7. Establish and standardize protocols for new product development, testing, and quality control.

Document all research and development activities in compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
9. Collaborate with the production team to scale up and optimize production protocols.
10. Train and mentor research trainees.
11. Maintain an inventory log of chemicals and consumables used in research and development.
12. Ensure adherence to laboratory discipline and maintain general lab upkeep in daily operation.
13. Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by your supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational backgrounds include (but are not limited to) B-Tech Plus 2 years of experience/ M.Tech/ Fresh PhD in Polymer Engg. / Materials Science and Engg. / Chemical Engg./Chemistry or any other allied fields
2. Scientific understanding of biomaterials for research and development is a must
3. Interest and willingness to work in a startup environment is a key.
