Role Overview

You will own sales and distribution for By The Mountain in the tr- city region This is a ground-level role: you will open accounts, build retailer and distributor relationships, and grow the brand’s presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue and distribution growth in [CITY] across modern trade, premium retail, and quick commerce

Identify, pitch, and onboard current retail outlets, distributors, and key accounts

Develop B2B accounts in hotels, restaurants, pharmacies, schools, gyms, and fitness clubs

Manage relationships with store buyers, category managers, and distributor partners

Ensure product availability, shelf placement, and visibility at outlets

Track sales, stock rotation, and secondary sales, and coordinate with the supply and operations team on replenishment





Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends, and share regional insights with the Sales Head

Meet monthly and quarterly sales and distribution targets

Report on pipeline, account status, and performance every week

Requirements

8+years of sales experience in FMCG, F&B;, or beverages; premium, health, or fresh categories preferred

Proven record of onboarding retailers or distributors and growing accounts

Existing relationships with retail buyers, distributors, or institutional accounts in [CITY]

Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

Comfortable with field work, store visits, and shelf audits

Working knowledge of Excel and sales reporting

Fluency in English and Hindi; [local language] is an advantage

Graduate in any discipline; MBA is a plus

Own vehicle or willingness to travel within the region
