Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior scientists in executing laboratory experiments and chemical reactions.
- Perform organic synthesis, reaction monitoring, work-up and purification under supervision.
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards and solutions according to SOPs.
- Support process development, optimization and scale-up activities.
- Operate basic laboratory equipment and analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR and pH meter, depending on the role.
- Assist in interpretation of analytical results and experimental data.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, raw data, sample records and other R&D; documentation.
- Follow GLP, GMP/cGMP, SOPs and laboratory safety procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of chemicals.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and check calibration status.
- Perform literature searches to support ongoing R&D; projects.
- Prepare experimental summaries, weekly updates and project reports.
- Communicate experimental observations and abnormal results to the senior scientist.
- Work collaboratively with Analytical R&D;, QC, QA, Production and other cross-functional teams.

Skills Required

- Good laboratory documentation skills.
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP and chemical safety is an advantage.
