Hiring for Quality Team lead - Civil ( Solar Projects)

The Manager – Quality is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the site quality plan in alignment with project requirements and standards. This role ensures adherence to quality processes through audits, inspections, and coordination with vendors and internal teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Planning & Implementation

- Develop, plan, and implement project-specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) in alignment with contract specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and enforce Manufacturer’s Quality Plans (MQPs) and QAPs for vendor-supplied materials and components.

Audits & Compliance

- Conduct internal and site-based quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and project requirements.
- Implement ISO documentation standards and perform internal audits as per the company’s quality management framework.

Testing & Laboratory Setup

- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated with valid certification and ready for use at the project site.
- Develop and maintain a standard "QA/QC Laboratory Equipment Setup" for solar project sites.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to approved quality plans.

Vendor & Material Quality Management

- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)



inspections at vendor locations for all critical components and bought-out items.
- Verify vendor compliance with IEC, BIS, and other relevant national/international standards.

Quality Documentation & Formats

- Develop quality checklists, inspection formats, and process flow documents for all construction and supply activities.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and reports for review and audit purposes.

Site Quality Assurance

- Monitor site-level execution for quality conformance, proactively identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and closure of quality-related action points.

Meetings & Coordination

- Organize and lead monthly quality review meetings with stakeholders to track quality performance and compliance.
- Coordinate cross-functional quality activities with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

Resource Management

- Plan and manage QA/QC manpower and resources effectively.
- Ensure all quality personnel are trained and equipped to carry out inspections and audits as required.

Policy & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations in all QA/QC operations.
