Position: Quality Control Engineer SS Housings & Filter Cartridges

Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

Department: Quality / Operations

Reports to: Production Head

Experience: 2–5 years in quality control of SS Fabrication, pressure vessels and tanks

Works closely with: Production, Packaging, Store and Logistics teams

Gender: Male

Key responsibilities

- Inspect and test SS housing and different cartridges at incoming, in-process and final stages.
- Make sure every work order is dispatched exactly as per the work order and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team and Operations Head so items are procured on time.
- Fill in the quality checklist for each work order and keep test records.
- Check packaging and coordinate with the team on logistics before dispatch.
- Use past experience to improve processes and reduce defects.

Requirements





- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering, or equivalent.
- 25 years of quality control experience with SS housing and different cartridges.
- Hands-on with pressure and leak testing, dimensional checks and weld inspection; able to read drawings.
- Valuable coordination and communication skills; working knowledge of MS Excel.

- Planning discipline and focus on delivery and cost.
- Clear communication with management, clients and inspectors.
- Languages: English, Hindi; Marathi preferred.
