Job Summary

We are looking for a technically sound QC Engineer with hands-on experience in quality inspection of EOT Cranes, Overhead Cranes, and Material Handling Equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for in-process inspection, fabrication and welding quality, dimensional inspection, crane assembly inspection, load testing, painting inspection, and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out in-process inspections of crane fabrication, cutting, welding, and assembly activities.
- Inspect welding joints, weld sizes, fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy as per approved drawings.
- Identify welding defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, overlap, and slag inclusion.
- Coordinate NDT activities such as DPT and MPI.
- Inspect crane components, including girders, end carriages, CT/LT wheel assemblies, crab, and hoist assemblies.
- Verify crane span, wheelbase, wheel alignment, diagonal measurements, and structural fitment.
- Perform or coordinate crane load testing and functional testing.
- Inspect grinding,



surface preparation, painting quality, and Dry Film Thickness (DFT).
- Prepare dimensional inspection reports, welding reports, NDT reports, and load test reports.
- Maintain material traceability, inspection records, and project-wise quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Design teams for quality issues and corrective actions.
- Ensure final quality inspection and clearance before dispatch.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in EOT Crane / Overhead Crane quality inspection.
- Knowledge of fabrication and welding inspection.
- Ability to read engineering and GA drawings.
- Knowledge of crane components, assembly, and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of load testing, NDT coordination, and DFT inspection.
- Positive reporting and documentation skills.

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

3–8 Years of relevant experience in QC Inspection, preferably in EOT Crane / Overhead Crane / MHE manufacturing.

Mandatory Industry Experience: EOT Crane / Overhead Crane manufacturing.

Work Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
