Job Title: Technical Lead - Python

Location: Hybrid (Fully remote, with one week in the office once every three months)

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred

We’re hiring a Technical Lead- Python to lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable backend systems powering product offerings, for our client which is a leading digital compliance platform operating at population scale across 2,000+ Indian businesses.

As the Technical Lead-Python, your responsibilities would be:

- Leading the design, development, and technical architecture of scalable, high-performance backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python.
- Driving key architectural decisions, promoting clean code, and setting engineering best practices across the team.
- Conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers through pair programming, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Managing technical estimations, solution designs, sprint planning, and delivery ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Optimizing application performance through database tuning, caching, asynchronous processing, and CI/CD automation.
- Troubleshooting production issues,



conducting root cause analysis, and driving long-term platform improvements.

Requirements:

- 6–8 years of backend software development experience, including hands-on technical leadership.
- Strong expertise in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proven experience in RESTful API design, authentication (JWT/OAuth), microservices, and distributed architecture.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB) or caching (Redis).
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills, with SaaS/product experience preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) is a plus.
