Company: Leading Fruits & Vegetables Retail Chain

Location: Kakkanad, Ernakulam

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pulses & Spices Purchaser to manage procurement for our growing retail chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and source quality pulses, spices, nuts and grocery products.
- Develop and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers and wholesalers.
- Negotiate competitive prices and payment terms.
- Ensure product quality, freshness and consistency.
- Monitor market prices, purchase rates and stock requirements.
- Coordinate purchasing, transportation and timely delivery.
- Ensure proper quality checking and cost control.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pulses, spices or FMCG grocery purchasing.
- Good knowledge of wholesale markets and suppliers.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of quality identification, grading and pricing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
