Role & responsibilities

Manage end to end procurement of gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, pearls, and jewellery-making materials.

Ensure purchases are made at competitive market rates and Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit facilities and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Monitor gold, silver, diamond and gemstone market price fluctuations.

Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors, manufacturers,

wholesalers, and importers and maintain solid relationships with existing suppliers.

Maintain purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and supplier agreements.

Ensure proper documentation for gold, diamonds, and gemstone purchases.

Monitor metal price differences, making charges, wastage, and other purchase-related expenses.

Preferred candidate profile

8 to 10 years of experience in Purchase & Procurement out of which 3 5 Years experience in Jewellery / Diamond / Gems Industry.
