About the Position : IPHS is looking for a competent, proactive and commercially oriented Purchase Engineer / Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities for its industrial manufacturing operations.

- Candidates with experience in Control Panel Manufacturing, Industrial Ovens, Heating Ovens, Heating Chambers, Industrial Heaters or similar equipment manufacturing companies will be strongly preferred.The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices, effective vendor management and smooth coordination with production and stores departments.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Procurement Planning
- Analyse production schedules and material requirements.
- Plan and execute procurement to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent material shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with production and stores for purchase planning.
- 2. Vendor Development & Management
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Continuously explore alternative vendors and cost-effective sourcing options.
- Monitor supplier quality, pricing and delivery performance.
- 3. Negotiation & Cost Control
- Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.




- Ensure competitive procurement without compromising quality.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and better purchasing terms.
- Keep track of market prices and material availability.
- 4. Purchase Operations & Follow-up
- Independently handle the complete purchase cycle, from material enquiry and quotation comparison to PO issuance and delivery follow-up.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders against approved requirements.
- Ensure timely receipt of materials as per production schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers for pending orders and delayed deliveries.
- Coordinate GRN and invoice-related documentation.
- 5. Technical & Quality Coordination
- Understand material specifications and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure materials meet approved specifications.
- Handle material rejections, replacements and quality-related supplier issues.
- 6. Inventory Management & Reporting
- Coordinate with stores for stock verification and material availability.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and avoid unnecessary inventory accumulation.
- Maintain vendor databases, purchase records and pending PO reports.
- Prepare purchase MIS, cost comparisons and procurement reports.
- Technical Knowledge – Preferred




- Candidates should have practical exposure to procurement of:
- Electrical components – Contactors, Relays, MCBs, MCCBs, SSRs, Temperature Controllers, Thermocouples and Control Panels.
- Heating components – Heating Elements, Industrial Heaters, Cables and Temperature Sensors.
- Mechanical materials – MS / SS Sheets, Pipes, Angles, Channels and Fabrication Items.
- Insulation materials – Ceramic Wool, Glass Wool, Rockwool and other industrial insulation products.
- Industrial consumables, hardware and electrical accessories.
- Software & Computer Skills
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, including comparative statements, purchase tracking and MIS reports.
- Good command of MS Word.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP for purchase entries, vendor bills and related documentation.
- Ability to prepare and maintain systematic purchase records and reports.
- Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing procurement.
- Strong vendor development, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage the complete purchase function.
- Positive coordination and follow-up with suppliers, production and stores.
- Commercially aware, organised and result-oriented.
- Candidates currently working as Purchase Engineer, Purchase Executive or Senior Purchase Executive in relevant manufacturing industries are welcome to apply.

Pay: ₹32,500.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
