Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled project engineer with experience in manufacturing and fabrication activities. The candidate must have practical knowledge of AutoCAD, technical drawings, site measurements, field visits, and project execution.
The candidate should be willing to travel to customer sites for measurements, project inspections, and execution coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings as per project requirements.
2. Understand technical drawings, layouts, and engineering specifications.
3. Visit customer sites for measurements, inspections, and project assessments.
4. Coordinate with customers, production, design, and installation teams.
5. Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution.
6. Coordinate material requirements and fabrication activities.
7. Identify technical issues at the site and coordinate for suitable solutions.
8. Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
9.
Prepare project reports, site measurement reports, and progress updates.
10. Coordinate installation and commissioning activities whenever required.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measurement and fabrication processes.
- Valuable knowledge of project coordination and execution.
- Willingness to travel for regular field / customer site visits.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and project documentation.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in the manufacturing/fabrication/stainless steel industry preferred.
- Practical experience in AutoCAD and site measurements.
- Candidates who can independently handle site visits and project coordination will be preferred.
- Should be proactive and capable of coordinating with multiple departments.
Mandatory Requirements
- AutoCAD experience is mandatory.
- Willingness to attend customer site visits is mandatory.
- Must have practical knowledge of technical drawings and measurements.
