Managing erection workers, fitters, riggers, welders and subcontractors. Reading structural and erection drawings. Planning the erection sequence and daily targets. Coordinating cranes, lifting equipment, scaffolding and access equipment.
Checking alignment, levels, plumb, bolting and welding quality as applicable. Monitoring attendance, labour productivity, equipment hours and site expenses. Coordinating with the client, site engineer and other contractors.
Maintaining daily progress reports, measurements and records for billing. Ensuring approved lifting procedures, fall protection and structural stability throughout erection.
