of NBR plant In Charge

Job Role: Section in charge /Manager

Location: Jadcherla (Hyderabad)

Reporting: Department Head

Must have skills: Production & Rubber manufacturing with core NBR Rubber knowledge.

1. Planning, Organizing, directing & controlling manufacturing activities for targeted yield, Productivity & with in quality standard.
2. Handle the entire shift production activities in the plant for achieving the production targets with minimum cost & zero accidents.
3. Monitor control & improve standard operational procedures (SOP) & Ensure safety in Plant & impart training to team members.
4. Maintain, manage & control all plant and operational assets, machinery equipments ensuring efficient functioning.
5. Coordinating with the cross functional team, stabilizing production runs, trial runs, and raw material control & customer complaints. Work closely with R & D for scale up new products & technology transfer.
6. Leading the daily morning manufacturing meeting to review KPIs and KAIs (SQDIP).
7. Managing shift operations & Share daily production shift report & Ensuring the accuracy of production WIP
8. Coordinating with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Coordinating with other functions to address non-conformities identified during process audits at various manufacturing line stations as per the quality control plan.
10. Maintain process parameter standard file for data collection.
11. Taking initiatives for Why –why analysis meeting for any rejection with team members, focusing on strengthening Quality of the product.
12. Design & implement productivity improvement programs for cycle time reduction & optimum utilization of work force.
13. Prepare shift wise production report & submit to MIS dept with SAP booking within given time limit.
14. Handling training, job evaluation, and job rotation of shop floor employees in coordination with Plant HR (Job Matrix & Skill Matrix).
15. Knowledge in Rubber mixing, Extrusion & foaming process.
16. Ensuring KAIZEN, Positive 5S, ISO-TS documentation, SAP Knowledge, Cycle time evaluation, SOP, GPL, OPL, control plan, Cp/Cpk Study, QC tools, TPM.

Requirement: Diploma/BE/B.Tech from Recognized institution. 12 to 16 years of relevant experience in production department.
