Job Overview

Indian University Press is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented production assistant with 1–2 years of experience in the publishing industry. The candidate should have practical knowledge of book production processes, printing coordination, and production management.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with printers and vendors regarding printing and production schedules.
- Monitor the quality of printed books, including paper, binding, cover, and finishing.
- Maintain production records, printing details, and cost-related documents.
- Track production timelines and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Assist in managing paper, printing materials, and other production requirements.




- Ensure accuracy and quality at every stage of book production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a publication house is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of book printing, binding, and production processes.
- Knowledge of paper quality, GSM, printing methods, and finishing.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Candidate A candidate with hands-on experience in educational book production and a valuable understanding of printing and production processes. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
