We are looking for creative Product Design Interns, preferably from NIFT, with a specialisation in Home Décor and Lifestyle products. The candidate will work on developing innovative handcrafted products and coordinating with artisans to bring design concepts to life.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Designing (25%): Develop product concepts, sketches and designs for home décor, furniture and lifestyle products.
- Artisan Coordination & Sourcing (40%): Coordinate with craftsmen, artisans and vendors for product development, sampling and sourcing.
- Market Research (20%): Research home décor trends, materials, competitor products and new design opportunities.
- Content & Documentation (15%): Assist with product descriptions, design presentations, catalogues and product-related content.
Requirements-
- NIFT students or recent graduates preferred.
- Specialisation in Home Décor, Lifestyle Accessories or Product Design.
- Good understanding of materials, colours, textures and product aesthetics.
- Knowledge of design tools such as Illustrator,
Photoshop or AutoCAD.
- Strong creative, communication and coordination skills.
