Consumer Lending Specialist

- Manage consumer loan accounts throughout the servicing lifecycle, from onboarding through payoff or closure.
- Process and post borrower payments accurately and within required timelines.
- Review and resolve payment discrepancies, reversals, refunds, and adjustments.
- Perform consumer loan boarding activities and validate loan data received from origination and funding teams.
- Review loan documents and ensure accurate setup of borrower, loan, payment, interest, escrow, and vehicle information.
- Maintain complete and accurate loan documentation and servicing records.
- Prepare accurate and complete loan closing packages in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct vehicle valuations using approved tools and guidelines.
- Process loan modifications, extensions, deferments, and payoff requests in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate timely follow-up, resolution, and escalation activities.
- Identify recurring processing issues and escalate system or operational defects appropriately.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy targets while safeguarding customer information.





Documentation Management

- Create charts, graphs, and color-coded analyses of review results.
- Follow up with client business units to ensure identified corrective actions have been implemented within the client's Loan Origination System (LOS).
- Perform reviews of fair lending attributes, including adverse actions on denied or withdrawn applications.
- Review exceptions to underwriting guidelines and assess mitigating factors.

Customer Service

- Collaborate with client business units to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
- Work with stakeholders to address process and procedural gaps impacting data accuracy and integrity.

Quality Control

- Verify the accuracy of borrower-provided documentation through sampling and testing processes.
- Cross-check information against original loan documents stored in electronic record systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to continuously enhance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
