Position: Private Tutor and Caretaker

Student studying in Grade 8

Qualification: Graduate or postgraduate; B.Ed. preferred

Experience: 2–5 years in private tutoring, teaching, or childcare

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience

Location: Urban Estate Phase 2, Patiala

We are looking for a responsible, patient, caring, and experienced tutor and caretaker to assist a Grade 8 girl with her studies, homework, daily routine, and overall well-being. The candidate should be capable of explaining school subjects, helping with assignments, and creating a safe, supportive, and disciplined learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the student with Grade 8 subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
- Help with daily homework, school assignments, revision, and examination preparation.
- Explain difficult concepts and develop effective study habits.
- Monitor academic progress and maintain regular communication with parents.
- Supervise the student’s daily routine, including study time, meals, and other age-appropriate activities.
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Ensure the student’s safety,



comfort, and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and positive study workplace.
- Coordinate with schoolteachers or parents when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Graduate or postgraduate qualification; teaching qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong command of English and Mathematics, along with the ability to teach other Grade 8 subjects.
- Previous experience teaching schoolchildren or working as a private tutor.
- Patient, trustworthy, punctual, and well-organised.
- Good communication skills and a child-friendly approach.
- Ability to balance academic tutoring with responsible caregiving.
- Willingness to undergo identity and reference verification.

Preferred Candidate A candidate with teaching experience, a caring nature, strong academic knowledge, and the ability to support the student’s educational and personal development.
