We are seeking a Principal Engineer or above - EDA to architect, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions BackEnd for Digital and Analog Designs done in the company. This role is part of the global EDA team.
- Propose, Architect, Develop and Successfully deploy AI/ML/GenAI solutions in Chip Design domain across Renesas s portfolio. Be proficient in developing and deploying AI solutions and EDA tools with keen eye on end-user experience metric.
- Own some part of the overall CAD solution and be responsible for WW engagement with customers.
- Good understanding of Digital Implementation and Signoff Methodologies for MCU and HPC type of designs.
- Hands-on in development debug of AI/ML Technologies and with industry leading EDA tools in Digital/Analog Designs
- Proactively engage with customers through regular follow-ups, in feature engineering, model development, demonstrate incremental and sufficient PPA, Productivity impact in chip design process.
- Hands-on in mature software development practices,



leading programming languages for AI/ML development tasks
- Expected to work in a dynamic design environment
- Prior collaboration with offshore/outsourcing partners and vendor escalation management Qualifications
- BTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 15+ years of experience in AI/ML software/model development and collaboration with design/EDA/CAD teams.
- Proven experience in developing AI Agents, Agentic AI, GenAI and ML solutions.
- Strong Programming and Scripting skills (Tcl, Perl, Python) for model/Agentic AI tool development on top of RTL to GDS digital design flow .
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving, teamwork, attention to detail, commitment to task, and quality focus
- Can - do attitude, openness to new workplace, people and culture
- Ability to propose innovative and leading edge solutions
- Strong drive ability to coordinate work across highly experienced global teams
