We are looking for a responsible and qualified Registered Pharmacist for a medical store attached to a psychiatry clinic in Chinchwad, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medicines accurately under applicable pharmacy regulations.
- Verify prescriptions and provide appropriate instructions regarding medicine use.
- Maintain proper records of medicine purchases, sales, and stock.
- Manage inventory and monitor stock levels.
- Check medicine expiry dates regularly and ensure proper storage of medicines.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
- Handle billing and routine pharmacy-related documentation.
- Coordinate with medicine distributors and suppliers for stock requirements.
- Maintain refrigerator/storage temperature where required.
- Follow Maharashtra FDA requirements and other applicable pharmacy regulations.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with patients.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and their prescriptions.
Qualification
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail medical store/pharmacy is preferred.
- Freshers with valid pharmacist registration may also apply.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with pharmacy billing software will be an advantage.
