About Groie

Groie is a B2B SaaS product marketing studio. We help companies build, launch, position and scale their products through strategic marketing and go-to-market execution. We partner with early-stage startups and enterprise SaaS teams across product marketing, positioning and messaging, SEO/AEO, demand generation, paid marketing, content, brand, website development and sales enablement.

Groie runs as the Groie Club, a membership model capped at 25 engagements a year, chosen by business need and growth stage. Members work with a team of 10+ marketing specialists, with founders hands-on in strategy and execution, through memberships such as Groie Residency and Groie Privé. Our focus is simple: turn marketing into measurable business growth for SaaS companies at every stage.

About the role

This is a full-time, remote role. As Paid Media Specialist, you will plan, run and optimise paid campaigns across search, social, display and emerging media to drive demand and pipeline for B2B SaaS clients. You will work closely with our marketing, product marketing and content teams so every campaign matches the client's positioning, messaging and wider GTM plan.

What you will do

You will own paid media end to end for 4 to 6 US client accounts, from strategy to reporting.

Strategy and planning

- Read each client's ICP, offer and sales cycle, and turn it into a channel plan: which platforms, which funnel stage, what budget split
- Set monthly targets with us for leads, MQLs, cost per lead and pipeline
- Plan budgets and pacing so accounts neither overspend nor stall mid-month
- Research competitors' ads and keywords before every new launch

Google Ads

- Build and manage Search, Performance Max and remarketing campaigns
- Do keyword research,

match type strategy and negative keyword lists
- Review search term reports every week and cut irrelevant spend
- Manage bid strategies, ad extensions/assets and Quality Score

LinkedIn Ads

- Build audiences by job title, function, seniority, company size, industry and company lists (ABM)
- Run Lead Gen Forms, Sponsored Content, Document Ads and Conversation Ads
- Set up retargeting from website visitors, video viewers and lead form openers
- Keep CPC and audience fatigue under control on small B2B audiences

Meta Ads

- Run retargeting and lookalike campaigns for clients where Meta fits
- Manage Pixel and Conversions API setup with the team

Creative and landing pages

- Write ad copy and run structured A/B tests on headlines, hooks, offers and formats
- Brief our designer on static, carousel and video creatives
- Review landing pages and suggest changes to improve conversion rate

Tracking and data

- Set up and audit GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag
- Define conversion events and make sure every form fill is tracked correctly
- Connect ad platforms to HubSpot and use UTMs so every lead has a source
- Import offline conversions (SQLs, deals) back into Google and LinkedIn

Optimisation

- Run a weekly optimisation routine per account: bids, budgets, audiences, keywords, creatives, placements
- Pause what is not working and scale what is,

with a clear reason for each change
- Keep a change log for every account

Reporting and clients

- Send weekly reports and a monthly performance review per client
- Report on lead quality and pipeline from HubSpot, not only clicks and CTR
- Join client calls, present results and recommend next steps
- Flag wasted spend, tracking issues or budget risks early, with a fix

What you bring

Must have

- 3+ years running performance-focused paid campaigns for B2B or SaaS companies, with clear examples of pipeline or revenue impact
- Media planning skills: designing, running and optimising paid strategies across multiple channels
- Hands-on with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads Manager, plus Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Experience with newer paid channels relevant to B2B SaaS, such as programmatic and emerging social platforms
- Research skills: audience analysis, keyword discovery, competitive benchmarking and ongoing testing
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable with data, dashboards, and attribution models
- Transparent communicator who can turn campaign data into simple recommendations for clients and the team
- Has managed monthly budgets of $5,000+ per account
- Can work independently and remotely, handle multiple client accounts, and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

- HubSpot experience (lead lifecycle, attribution, ad integrations)
- Google Ads or LinkedIn Marketing certifications
- Experience in agri-tech, energy, construction tech or IT services
- Looker Studio or Google Sheets dashboards
- Agency experience juggling multiple accounts
